I'VE GOT NOVELS, MAN

 

I have been penning large project prose since 1997 when I wrote my very first novel "Concrete Roses" which was a street drama about a group of friends who rise from the mean NY streets to fame and fortune in Hip Hop. Picture "Empire" but written in 1997. Unfortunately that work is lost to time, but I have decided to make sure that does not happen  to my other works. 

 

So here, you will see snippets and parts posted of books I am working on in the vein of urban drama/lifestyles. 

 

My goal is to get my uncompleted prose pieces finished and published, while I work on the next projects. Trust me, there are a few. 

 

The little guy in the picture is my reason for doing this. Our kids, our future must know that the inner writer/creator spirit must be stoked, must be allowed to grow and blossom. The world cannot continue to re-make imagination, new thoughts, genres and styles have to continuously be massaged. If I, at over 40 can reinvent myself and my craft, imagine what our kids can do.
